AIS SART VAI8

AIS Search and Rescue Transmitter (AIS-SART) is a new type of research-and-rescue positioning device developed on the basis of radar research-and-rescue transponder (radar SART). Under emergency conditions, the person in distress can send AIS standard format of distress signal to the vessel nearby, base station, satellite, etc. The signal contains information about the precise location and identity, which improves possibility that the person in distress can be saved. VAI8 Search and Rescue Transmitter is a transmitting equipment on the basis of AIS technology. There is a built-in GPS positioning receiver. It is a new generation of marine life saving product adopted modular design with low power consumption, small volume, light weight, and high reliability.
